The Department of Infrastructure is planning to conduct major motorway works as part of the York Street Interchange development. The works could last three years or more. This is happening alongside other building works including the University of Ulster, its carpark and student accommodation tower blocks. The Residents Group have raised concerns with the Department of Infrastructure about the serious impacts this will bring to the local community for the duration and in the aftermath of the works.
The Residents Groups are now conducting a door to door community feedback survey for local residents and homes impacted by the Interchange project and developments.
