A4 Training Prospectus 2020 CoverThe CORE team assist people aged 16-24 living in the North Belfast and Newtownabbey areas through a support service that provides clients with an opportunity to achieve their goals through free training and employability skills.

We have continued to support young people throughout lockdown resulting in 37 clients progressing into education or training with 40 gaining employment since the beginning of the pandemic.

Core has remained resolute in its support of the North Belfast community with classes continuing online combined with one to one mentoring support helping those experiencing difficulty during these uncertain times.

We have changed our delivery model to allow resources such as online classes and web based meeting platforms to best communicate with our clients. We have also introduced specific areas of training to include Mental Health Awareness and Resilience Building workshops.

As we begin to shift towards a change in how we as a society operate, Core is adapting to new ways of communicating with our clients and in turn, finding the best possible means to support them in areas of further education or employment. We have introduced new social distancing measures and look forward to continue to work with young people in the area.
