Residents meeting reference University of Ulster and associated building works

Dear Resident

A well-attended public meeting held recently in the Bunscoil Lancaster Street between local residents, community workers and the Ulster University (UU), highlighted a range of issues facing the neighbourhood over the coming years due to large scale building projects such as the new University, student tower blocks and the York Street Interchange.

There was general agreement at that public meeting that local residents should structure a community response that could work to prevent or manage future problems before, during and after they arise,  and to take advantage of any positive opportunities that may emerge from these developments.

To discuss this further and to agree a way forward there will be a meeting at the Bunscoil Lancaster Street Wednesday 21^st February 7.00 pm.
