During August 2019 rioting broke out in New Lodge around an anti-community bonfire. This was during the local community festival where only a few hundred yards away 100’s of people were enjoying a carnival fun day. The media focused on the negative aspects of the New Lodge rather than the positives. This video shows the real and positive side of the New Lodge the media ignored.
