New Lodge Arts is running a Spring Awakening Event on Saturday 31st March 2018 from 12pm-4pm in Alexandra Park, Antrim Road, Belfast.
As part of the outreach programme, we will be delivering workshops with Schools and Community Groups across North Belfast.
The theme of the workshops is ‘All Creatures Great & Small’ based around an environmental project exploring the wildlife. Children will have an opportunity to learn about different species of wildlife. They will work with the Artists to design and create a range of creatures. The Artwork will all be collected from the school and put on display within the Park at the event as part of a Critters Trail.
We are encouraging cross community participation so if there is any group/school who would like to avail of 3 workshops, lasting 1.5 hours each then please contact cecilia.heron@ashtoncentre.com
