North Belfast Interface Network
North Belfast Interface Network (NBIN) was established in 2002 by community organisations to develop a strategic response to interface violence and to mainstream community relations work in North Belfast.
The project is funded by the Community Relations Council (CRC) as a collaboration of Ardoyne Focus Group, Cliftonville Community Regeneration Forum, Ashton Community Trust and Ligoniel Improvement Association.
In April 2006 NBIN released a three year strategic plan which set out four key aims
- Improve understanding and develop better relations within our community
- Address Interface Problems
- Improve Inter-Community Relations
- Lobby & Influence Government, Statutory and other bodies
